This year will be the 5th Barnet Classic Car Show and there will be more cars than before because of the extra space available due to the move to the Army Reserve Centre’s site in St Albans Road. It is scheduled for Saturday, 30th June, and will be part of an Open Day for the site as a contribution to National Armed Forces Day.
Gates to the site will open at 10.00 am, but the classic cars will not arrive until 10.30 am, having paraded along High Barnet’s High Street from around 10.30 am until 11.10 am. Gates will close at 3.00 pm. Military vehicles will be on display as well as the classic cars (and a few classic motorcycles), a band will play for part of the time and there will be various stalls. Entrance will be free and any proceeds made from the refreshment stalls will go to armed forces charities. There will displays and stalls to interest all ages. Parking for visitors will be in either of the two car parks (Council and NCP) in nearby Stapylton Road.
