Hendon is eight miles north-west of central London. The area is incredibly well connected for travel into and out of London. With an overground and underground station and the M1, A5, A406 North Circular, A41 and the A1 running through the area. Away from these main roads are quiet residential roads with a range of property styles and sizes.
There is a strong sense of community spirit with a wide range of cultures and ethnicity living side by side. The underground station is on the Edgware branch of the Northern line and the overground is on the Thameslink line. The two main shopping areas in Hendon are around Hendon Central Tube station and the along Brent Street each with an interesting mix of local shops and major brands, then of course there is the shopper’s paradise of Brent Cross close by.
Learn to sail with the Welsh Harp Sailing Association which is based at the Brent Reservoir. More commonly known as The Welsh Harp, it is 170 hectares of open water, marshes, trees and grassland, designated a 'Site of Special Scientific Interest'.
