Martyn Gerrard MRICS FCIOB FNAEA
Chairman Martyn Gerrard established the firm in Whetstone in 1964 and sold his first house in Byng Road, Barnet for £4950. The Whetstone office was swiftly followed by five strategically placed branches throughout North London: North Finchley, Finchley Central, East Finchley, Crouch End and Muswell Hill. In the 1970s the company declined an offer by one of the big insurance companies to sell out, as Martyn Gerrard believed then, and still believes today, that the main function of an estate agent is selling or letting property, not selling insurance. Today, the company sells around 1200 properties a year – from executive apartments to period homes – and everything in between.
Simon Gerrard MNAEA MARLA
Managing Director Simon Gerrard has Estate Agency and Property running through his blood. From an early age he has experienced all aspects of agency life and in 2005 he took over the day to day running of the company from his father. While continuing the family tradition of friendly service and high professional standards, Simon has brought a new dynamic aspect to the business by embracing the latest innovative ideas and technologies.
Warren Price MNAEAFinchley Central
Warren Price is Sales Director and manages the Finchley Central office. Having started as a trainee in 1991, Warren swiftly rose through the ranks to become a manager and then a director after 7 years. There are few other agents with as much experience of the Finchley area as Warren.
David Smith FNAEA MARLAHead Office
Having been encouraged by his uncle to get into estate agency, David started at Martyn Gerrard when he left school in the late 70′s. He was quickly promoted to senior negotiator and then office manager. Over the years he has worked in many of the Branches and has built up an in-depth knowledge of the area. He is a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents and Member of the Association of Residential Letting Agents. In his spare time he “enjoys” hacking around a golf course and is a member of Middlesex County Cricket Club
Saul Gerrard MA MRICS FCIOBCommercial Dept.
Saul who manages the Commercial agency and Professional Services departments has grown up in the business he is a Member of the Royal Institution of Charted Surveyors and also has a Masters in Property Valuation and Law. In his spare time Saul is a keen athlete. For the last 2 years Saul has entered the Blenheim Triathlon and previously the London Triathlon and raised a considerable sum for the North London Hospice. He is back in training for his next big event – his wedding next year!
Greg Tsuman MARLAEast Finchley
Fluent in Russian Greg joined the company as a trainee in 2001 and quickly progressed to become a Lettings Manager in 2003 and was made a Director in 2010. Under his leadership the Letting Department has grown to become the number one agent in most parts of North London. As a member of ARLA Greg takes an active part in ensuring that the emphasis on training and the expected high levels of customer service are being delivered. Currently studying towards the Certificate in Residential Letting & Property Management Greg would like to stay on top of the ever changing legislation which is so important to protect our clients.
Mark Fordham MNAEACrouch End
Mark is Branch Manager at the Crouch End office, having joined the company as an experienced Senior Negotiator in 2004. He has an excellent knowledge of the Crouch End area, and lives locally in nearby Stroud Green. After studying successfully for a Geography Degree at Southampton University, Mark travelled around South America before settling in North London. He has run several Marathon and Half Marathon events, raising significant sums for various charities.
Chris KyriacouMuswell Hill - Sales
Chris joined Martyn Gerrard in 2011. He is passionate about offering his clients a more personal service. Having worked for a corporate style agency for over 10 years he really appreciates the finer things Martyn Gerrard can offer their clients. His knowledge of marketing and customer service keep, him at the top of his field, and his clients happy. In his spare time Chris likes to keep fit and is an avid Martial Artist. He also likes to do a bit of acting and you can often find him treading the boards with his local drama company
Gary MasonKentish Town
Gary has recently joined us as Sales Manager of the Kentish Town Office. Gary has many years experience of Kentish Town having worked for a large corporate and an independent agent in the area.
Mark SternEast Finchley
Mark became an estate agent in 2009 working in Islington and Crouch End. Before that he owned and operated his own Bathroom installation company for twelve years, so his knowledge and understanding of the building trade, design and renovation costs helps re-assure buyers on what’s actually needed to create their dream home. Outside of work Mark is a keen and busy musician, playing bass guitar in a function band.
Gareth Targett MNAEAMill Hill
Gareth is the Branch Manager of Mill Hill office and has a career spanning some 20 years in property in the North London area. Gareth has two children and spends his spare time with family and friends. He is a keen sports fan and especially enjoys football, cricket and golf.
Craig Thompkins MNAEANorth Finchley
Craig’s property career started in Notting Hill and Bayswater in the mid nineties. Having built up his experience in St John’s Wood, Maida Vale and Hampstead he first came to Finchley in 1998 and now manages our North Finchley Branch. Craig doesn’t like wasting time on the daily commute so in 2007 he settled in Woodside Park. When not cheering on his beloved Liverpool FC he enjoys cooking and entertaining (apparently he’s very good in the kitchen). Craig is also a qualified Diver, which has seen him exploring reefs as far away as Cuba, Brazil and Australia.
Darren Treadaway MNAEATotteridge & Whetstone
Darren has a wealth of knowledge with 12 years estate agency experience. He has lived in New Barnet all his life so knows the area incredibly well. Darren mixed three of his years in Estate Agency with life as a professional triathlete, he had numerous race wins here in the UK including the Bournemouth International and raced overseas in the World Ironman 70.3 series. So any free time he gets is spent swimming, biking and running!

Andy Christophi MARLAMuswell Hill
Andy is the lettings manager at the Muswell Hill Branch. With many years experience of letting property in the North London area he joined Martyn Gerrard in October 2008. Having grown up locally, he has acquired a wide knowledge of the area and all it has to offer. Andy is fluent in Greek and in his spare time a keen sportsman, who plays regularly in the five a side football tournaments in Muswell Hill. Andy has obtained the Technical Award in Residential Lettings and Property Management and is a member of the Association of Residential Letting Agents.
Anthony Cooper MARLAFinchley Central
Anthony is Lettings Manager of the Finchley Central branch and also oversees the North Finchley and Whetstone offices. Anthony joined the company in 2004 having worked in Finchley Central for the past seven years. He has a very wide knowledge of the area and there are not many agents with the same experience of the area as Anthony. He is a family man with two boys and enjoys playing golf. Anthony has obtained the Technical Award in Residential Lettings and Property Management.
Arosha AmarasekeraEast Finchley
Arosha is based in the East Finchley office. Originally from Sri Lanka, Arosha was brought up in North Finchley and has great first hand knowledge of the local area. As a Sri Lankan he has a great love of cricket and enjoys playing – but not with the same flair or style that his native countryman are known for – but don’t tell him that!

Susan has enjoyed working for the Company for many years, and has a wide and valuable knowledge of the North London area, having worked in most of Martyn Gerrads branches. She was born in Totteridge, and attended local schools, and still lives locally.
David DavoliCrouch End
David is the sales negotiator at the Crouch End office. He joined the company in June 2005 at the Whetstone office then moved to Crouch End at the beginning of 2007. Living locally he has a great knowledge of both the Whetstone and Crouch End areas and is a very enthusiastic member of the team. David is fluent in Italian and in his spare time is a keen gym enthusiast.
Chris FaircloughEast Finchley
Chris joined Martyn Gerrard In March 2008 as a trainee sales negotiator. Now permanently based at East Finchley, he gained experience working in various branches including Crouch End, Muswell Hill and Kentish Town. Chris grew up in North London and has been involved in many various local projects and realises the importance of giving back to the community. He is a keen basketball player training with England basketball team and playing in tournaments and leagues in and around London. For the past 3 years he has been coaching basketball to kids in Islington, Camden and Crouch End
Alex GillCrouch End
Alex is based in the CrouchEnd branch. Alex is passionate about property and having lived in North London all his life is able to give genuine advice about the local area. Alex also enjoys going to the gym and playing American football for London Blitz winning national championships and competing in European competitions.
Harry GregoryCommercial Department
Harry joined the Commercial Department based at the East Finchley branch in 2010. Since graduating from University with a degree in Law and Politics, Harry has accumulated over 4 years of sales and marketing experience. Harry is well travelled having spent time in the USA, Canada, Japan and China – he is interested in fashion, art, music and popular culture as well as being a keen sportsman and playing regularly for a Sunday League football side.
Veronica Gray MNAEAMuswell Hill
Veronica has enjoyed living and raising her family in Muswell Hill benefiting and valuing the excellent local schools and amenities. Becoming a local sales negotiator has allowed her to use her valuable local knowledge and understanding of this remarkable area. Her long standing membership of the world renowned Crouch End Festival Chorus, recently performing with Oasis for the BBC Electric Proms, keeps her busy and involved with the local community.
Scott Henderson MNAEANorth Finchley
Born and bred in Barnet, Scott has an excellent knowledge of the local area. He gained a degree in Business and Computing and since joining the company he has quickly become a valuable member of the team. Scott has taken the NFoPP Technical Award in the Sale of Residential Property and passed with flying colours. In August 2011 Scott’s hard work was rewarded by being made Assistant Branch Manager. In his spare time Scott is a gym fanatic and Arsenal fan.
Nick Heys MNAEACrouch End
Nick is sales negotiator at the Crouch End office. Having worked as a Team Manager in the National Sales Centre for British Gas in his hometown, Cardiff for ten years, he cut his teeth in estate agency in Shoreditch after he became interested in this side of the business when he bought and sold his own flat and house and found the whole sales & conveyance process fascinating.
Michael IzziCommercial Dept.
Michael joined Martyn Gerrard Commercial department in September 2011. Graduating in 2010 with a degree in Planning and Property Development, Michael moved to London from Edinburgh to pursue his career in the property industry. Prior to Martyn Gerrard, Michael worked as a Valuation Manager for an internet based estate agent across the Home Counties and a Sales Negotiator in Hampstead. Michael is a lover of sports with a keen interest in Football and like any True Scotsman he enjoys a regular round of Golf.
Julian Jacobs MARLANorth Finchley
Julian is the Lettings Manager at the North Finchley Branch. Over the last 8 years Julian has built his experience in the Letting Markets of Hampstead, Highgate, Islington and St John’s Wood . Living in Totteridge with his young family, he grew up in this part of North London so has an intimate knowledge of the local area and what it has to offer. An avid Spurs fan, Julian is an enthusiastic baker (his triple-chocolate brownies are exceptional) and guitarist. Julian has obtained the Technical Award in Residential Lettings and Property Management and is a Licensed member of ARLA.
Jason LaandaTotteridge & Whetstone
Jason started MartynGerrard in 2011 at our Whetstone office and is now a valuable member of the team. Jason has been brought up and raised in Finchley giving him an extensive knowledge of the local area. Having a family background in property, Jason is passionate about his role as a sales negotiator. Jason is also a keen sportsman, and has achieved 1st Dan black belt in the martial art Tae Kwon Do. This also relates to his addiction of attending the gym 5 times a week!
Elle Lovera MNAEAFinchley Central
Following in her dad’s “property footsteps”, Elle first joined the company at our Crouch End branch in early 2006. With her potential quickly realised she was swiftly promoted to her current role of Senior Negotiator in our Finchley Central office. Apart from ensuring everyone has a smile on their face Elle likes to spend her time shopping and when it all becomes a bit too much she relaxes with a spot of light yoga.
Jason O’Connell MARLAKentish Town
Jason is the Lettings Manager of the Kentish Town branch, although he only recently joined the company at the start of 2012, Jason has over 20 years experience in both Residential Lettings & Property Management in the North London area and has been a individual member of ARLA since the late 1990’s. In his spare time Jason enjoys spending time with his young family and is also a keen cyclist.

Tony Ryan MNAEAMill Hill
Tony began his Estate agency career in 2005 and joined Martyn Gerrard in 2010 and is the assistant manager of the Mill Hill Branch. Having grown up in the Barnet area he has extensive knowledge of North London which together with his understanding of the property market has rapidly seen him become well respected throughout the company. Another Arsenal supporter, Tony’s love of sport doesn’t end with football, he is a keen golf, cricket and snooker fan. That said he doesn’t get much time on the pitch, the course or the green baize anymore as he is now the proud father of his baby boy, Charlie.
Emily Scott MNAEAEast Finchley
Emily has over seven year’s estate agency experience. She returned to work for the company in December 2011 having originally worked at the Totteridge and Whetstone branch, Emily now works out of our East Finchley office. Her favorite thing to do in her spare time is socialising with her friends and working out at the gym.
Jatin Shah MARLAMill Hill
Jatin is the Lettings Manager at the Mill Hill Branch. Jatin’s career in estate agency began in 2008. Having worked in both North West London and Central London lettings market Jatin joined Martyn Gerrard in 2011. He is passionate about good customer service and takes great pride in providing excellent service to both landlords and tenants. Jatin holds the NFOPP Level 3 Award in Residential Letting & Property Management and is a licensed member of ARLA. In his spare time Jatin enjoys going to the gym, travelling and playing the keyboard.
Anthony Spittle MARLACrouch End
Having finished University, Anthony came to work for the company as a Lettings Manager in 2004. He has experience in many of our areas having worked in North Finchley, Highgate, Muswell Hill and Crouch End and fully understands our clients needs. Anthony is also a keen skier and speaks German fluently. He has recently taken the NFoPP Technical Award in Lettings & Property Management which he passed with a score of 100%

Philip, in his 13th year with Martyn Gerrard, continues to excel in the local sales market and has been top sales negotiator in the company for the past 10 years running. Philip provides exceptional customer service which is recognised by nearly every purchaser and vendor he deals with and comes from a passion of winning and of a deep understanding the market.
Andre Vidot MNAEAKentish Town
Andre started his career with Martyn Gerrard as an apprentice. He worked at both the Muswell Hill and Mill Hill offices, while studying for the NFoPP Technical Award in the Sale of Residential Property. Andre passed his exams with flying colours and in August 2011 was taken on as a permanent member of staff and was based at the Kentish Town office.

Serge is the Assistant Manager of the Totteridge & Whetstone office and has a wealth of knowledge and experience of the North London area, having worked in the Totteridge and Whetstone for over 10 years. Serge is captain of Temple Fortune Masters football team, and is a big Spurs fan.
Stewart WillertonNorth Finchley
Having joined the company in 2011 Stewart is now a valuable member of the team, working in the North Finchley office as a Sales Negotiator. Formerly a professional golfer he is still a huge fan of the sport and also enjoys playing football, rugby and cricket. Stewart is father to two lovely children, Oliver and Grace.

Eitan joined the Commercial Department in 2011, after graduating with a degree in Real Estate Management from Nottingham Trent University. Throughout his time at University Eitan gathered a wealth of experience through summer work placements. With aspirations to become a Chartered Surveyor, Eitan is working hard to establish himself within the commercial industry and is currently working towards his ICBA. Eitan is a keen sportsman, especially football and supports Arsenal FC.’
Charlotte MelvilleMuswell Hill - Sales
Charlotte joined our sales department in Muswell Hill after a period as a trainee sales negotiator where she gained experience working in various Martyn Gerrard branches including Finchley Central and Mill Hill. Charlotte was born in North West London but grew up in Spain from a young age before returning to her routes in 2005. She is a keen dancer & has spent many years participating in shows & competitions as well as teaching a variety of classical and modern dance styles.
